Recording, researching and promoting indigenous Cretan varieties
The plan is to conduct a vineyard overview, select local varieties, evaluate agroecological practices in pilot vineyards, implement clonal selection, conduct molecular genetic classification, create a network of producers to cultivate proposed varieties, investigate and record by-products that use grape juice, and promote research results to stakeholders.
