Developing a local brand for agroecological and/or sustainable viticulture

The goal is to promote and enhance the value of Cretan wine, the Mediterranean diet, gastronomy, cultural heritage, and unique landscape by developing a strong brand name for sustainable Cretan wine. This will be achieved by promoting Cretan wine abroad through alternative marketing channels, targeting niche markets and consumers with increased sustainability awareness, participating in international exhibitions, providing fair income to local actors, good working conditions and benefits for vineyard workers, and increasing awareness on environmental and landscape protection.
